Material
The advanced briquetting machines manufactured by RUF Briquetting Systems in Bavaria are designed to process a diverse range of materials, converting production waste into high-quality briquettes. These systems are versatile and efficient. For specific materials, it is recommended to send a minimum required quantity of the material for testing. More information can be provided on request.
Aluminium
Aluminium briquettes offer better opportunities for marketing than loose chips. Moreover, the cooling lubricants in these chips are efficiently recovered by the RUF aluminium press. These cooling lubricants can then be reused after appropriate treatment.
Depending on customer requirements, RUF offers aluminium presses for throughputs between 30 and 2,400 kg per hour. The required throughput will have an influence on the choice of the briquette format.
Wood
With the great number of wood chip machines sold over the years, RUF briquettes are popular all over the world as a high-quality fuel. These briquettes burn longer, have almost zero smoke emissions and are extremely sustainable.

To be able to press wood chips, it is important that the water content of the material is below 15%.
Depending on customer requirements, wood briquette machines can be tailor-made for throughputs between 410 and 1,050 kg per hour.
Sludge
The special briquetting technique used for grinding sludge is based on a special construction, developed by RUF Briquetting Systems, which has been technically adapted to deal with this particularly abrasive material. Due to its compact structure, the grinding sludge press can easily be incorporated into existing production processes and is suitable for 24h operation.

In addition to the recycling of grinding sludge, the recovery of cooling lubricant also results in significant savings.
Depending on customer requirements, grinding sludge presses can be customized for throughputs between 40 and 350 kg per hour.
Biomass
The RUF briquette press for biomass forms briquettes from biogenic residual matter of all kinds, including wood chips, MDF, chipboard panel residues, agricultural substances, paper and textile dust, producing briquettes of a consistently high quality and density.
Through the briquetting of loose material, the volume of the material is greatly reduced, as is the level of dust formation.
Depending on customer requirements, biomass briquette presses can be customized for throughputs between 50 and 1,050 kg per hour.
